Born in Santa Barbara California and the daughter of two pastors, singer Katy Perry has really hit the limelight as a talented singer. Her cover of I Kissed a Girl expose the world to this sassy, humorous and talented performer. She is a sexy gal and is not shy of the limelight and has a string of really impressive performances under her belt. Her retro fifties look and penchant for wearing tight outfits has kept the media and a lot of teen boys very interested.
She cites her biggest influence as the band Queen. It appears that Katy Perry's parents do not approve of her new musical direction.
